- Magic Bay Hud by Lenovo is a modular display for laptops Thinkbook
- It attaches magnetically via the Pogo pin and supports Lenovo AI now
- Designed for the multitasking, the HUD always on custody the notes and notifications of the main screen
In March 2025, I wrote on Lenovo Tiko, which was part of the Magic Bay accessories range for the Thinkbook Lenovo 16p Gen 6.
Presented at the MWC 2025 in Barcelona, it was described by the company as a “companion of compact emotional interaction”. I suggested that it was a bit like a Microsoft physical bob for the 21st century.
The Thinkbook 16p Gen 6 was designed for extensibility and modularity, and Lenovo has created a series of attached accessories for this, including TIKO, which offered an Emoji style status in real time, responses based on interactive gestures and personalized emoji notifications.
Lenovo Magic Bay Hud
The images have shown that he had an ASA expressive interface to help users remain informed and engaged throughout their working day.
For all those looking for something less childish perhaps, there was also the Lenovo Magic Bay Tiko Pro, a more serious alternative offering a real-time widget interface.
It would be an assistant to help rationalize the information, said Lenovo.
At IFA 2025, Lenovo revealed much more about the concept of Magic Bay, including he has a new name – say goodbye to Tiko and hello to the Lenovo Magic Bay Hud.
Lenovo also announced that the additional system will soon be available in limited markets. The markets that will be unknown for the moment, but China seems to be a safe bet for at least one of them.
According to Lenovo, this head -up display connects magnetically via Pogo Pin and offers users a practical and without screen to extend their workspace for an intelligent multitasking.
I wonder if its designers will also free the webcam from its fixed position, like the Honor Magicbook Art 14, because it would be a good decision.
But what is the point of all this, I hear you ask. Well, the company says it is “ideal for maintaining transcription, notes or notifications on the main screen”. It is personally not something I need, but I am happy to be wrong.
In addition, Lenovo has confirmed that the HUD always will be integrated transparently with Lenovo AI NOW to offer users a more targeted and more efficient workflow.
