History follows Bob, a revolutionary revolutionary living in paranoia stoned with his autonomous daughter Willa. When his sworn enemy resurfaces and Willa disappears, the father and the daughter are forced to count with the consequences of their past.
In a new conversation with VarietyDiCaprio described the film “unique and specialized” for the big screen.
“I mean, Paul shot this film in Vista Vision-cameras that have rarely been used since the early 1960s,” he said, noting the director’s commitment to film immersion.
“He wants people to have this immersive experience and make an unexpected, tactile, realistic action film and something that is probably very different from what we have been saturated.”
“In this regard, the box office is very important,” he concluded.
The film also features Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor and Chase Infiniti.
