Teyana Taylor and Leonardo DiCaprio on the screen of chemistry in their new film, One battle after another, Hit different but off screen, they have become instant friends.
In a recent conversation with The New York Times On Monday, September 8, the Costar revealed that their friendship had started well before filming.
When asked how Taylor had been interpreted as perfidia, DiCaprio said: “I have known Teyana for a long time.”
“Paul and I were talking about who would play this lightning rod of a character who was a radical but also someone who was able to manipulate,” he said. “The echoes of his character have repercussions throughout the film, and each character is emotionally marked by Perfidia.”
THE Titanic Star added: “So we knew that we needed to get someone who could not only be daring and frank, but bring this talent for improvisation of the truth in the moment … She just embodied this character in a way that I do not think that someone else can. We are all left as a carnage after she arrives on the screen, picking up the songs of our lives.”
Taylor revealed how their friendship began: “A fun thing: me and Leo we really met at Diana Ross’s birthday party a few years ago and instantly become the best buds. This is my winger, my partner in crime!”
In the action thriller produced by Paul Thomas Anderson, the actors’ out -screen connection clearly resulted in chemistry on the screen.
