Liam Coen sent a text to Baker Mayfield whom he stayed with the Buccaneers as an offensive coordinator on Tuesday, according to ESPN.
On Friday, Jacksonville Jaguars officially announced Coen as their new head coach, who came after a weekly mountain.
Coen also sent an SMS to head coach Todd Bowles and managing director Jason Licht on Tuesday that he would stay with the BUCs, according to the report.

After sending an SMS to brass from the BUCS, Coen then retired from the consideration of the Jaguars head coach position on Wednesday.
The Buccaneers were ready to make Coen the best paid offensive coordinator in the NFL.
However, the Jaguars then separated from their managing director, Trent Baalke on Wednesday afternoon. The owner of Jaguars, Shad Khan, then contacted Coen to see if he was recupeting the job of head coach.

While Coen was in Jacksonville interviewing, the Bucs were waiting for him to enter the building and sign his new contract to stay with the team.
But the Bucs could not get in touch with Coen or his agent, and they started to realize that he was inaccessible because he was in Jacksonville to interview the post, according to the report.
