Liam Gallagher has just apologized for the use of an involuntary racial insult.
The emblematic British legend, which should find his brother, Noel Gallagher for the highly anticipated Oasis Live ’25 tour, Marking their return after 16 long years, recognized his error to use an inappropriate language.
Liam, which is expected to launch the main gig mains in Cardiff on July 4, and playing a second night on July 5, will then go to several places across the United Kingdom and Ireland, including Heaton Park in Manchester, the Wembley stadium in London, Croke Park in Dublin and Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
Tuesday, the Lead wonders Hitmaker has published an anti-Asian insult, “Chingchong” on his X account, formerly Twitter, which led to a huge backlash.
In response, a fan wrote: “Liam, you cannot say that”, what Liam asked “why” while another fan concerned told him that he “could be canceled today”, to which the front man replied nonchalantly: “Anyway”.
However, later, he deleted the message mentioning the word racially inappropriate, by making excuses that read:
“Sorry if I offer someone with my tweet before it is not intentional, you know that I love you all and that I do not discriminate. Peace and love.”
Nor is it the first time that Liam has been criticized for having used racial insults as in 2022, during the World Cup, he published the insult capable “Mong”, targeting the manager of England of the time, Gareth Southgate.
In another old post, he wrote “Fuck You Woke Swoke Spastics.” And even if the two messages were deleted by the Oasis star, he did not address them.
Now, two days before Liam and Noel Gallagher met on stage for their reunion tour, it seems that the stars do their best to prevent people from being disappointed, especially when they are already close to having a rather legendary meeting.
