The New York Liberty leaves the head coach Sandy Brondello almost a year after the veteran Wgb The coach led the franchise to his first championship.
The team published on Tuesday a statement announcing the decision not to renew the Brondello contract for the 2026 season.

“We would like to thank Sandy Brondello for her eternal impact on the New York Liberty, “ Director General Jonathan Kolb said in a statement. “Sandy ends her mandate in New York as the most victorious coach in the history of the franchise, and she took us to constantly peaks as the first head coach to lead the freedom of a championship.
