In April 28, episode of her I miss you? The Allen podcast presented detailed excuses for its comments on Katy Perry after the entirely female spatial flight of 11 minutes from its blue origin.
“Because we are talking about a very famous person who is a little divisor, I would in fact like to apologize for being mean about Katy Perry last week,” said Allen about the compliments she made in a previous episode of the Podcast.
The singer-songwriter continued saying: “There was in fact no need to make me name. And it was my own internalized misogyny. I thought there a lot and it was simply useless to accumulate with her.”
Allen admitted that she “does not agree” with the Space Trip project, but that the call specifically the name of Perry was not the right decision.
“I don’t know, there was something in me that decided to choose it like the person … Well, anyway, I’m just sorry. I would have been injured if it was me and someone in my industry used me and my name,” she explained.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry, Katy Perry. I know you don’t listen to the show, but yes, sorry,” concluded Allen.
For unpaid people, the Blue Origin space flight of Jeff Bezof took place on April 14, which included a total of six women, including Katy Perry.
