A few moments after Detroit lions The Morice Norris security left the field in an ambulance in the pre-season match on Friday against the Falcons of Atlanta with a serious injury, the players of the two teams stopped playing to meet in the middle of the Mercedes-Benz stadium and join the prayer.
Norris, 24, was injured at the start of the fourth quarter when he tried to attack Falconies flowing Nathan Carter. He remained motionless on the ground after Carter’s leg appeared to contact his head during the tackle.

The game was delayed because Norris was followed by medical staff for about 20 minutes before leaving the field in an ambulance.

The game resumed shortly after and it was there that the powerful scene took place.
The Falcons seemed to be perfected a snap while the players on both sides of the ball stood. The clock continued to run, leaving advertisers and confused fans. The players then caught their hands, lowered their heads and got up in a circle to pray.
“Guy is a violent game, and we love it, but when something like it happens, the silver lining is the brotherhood,” said the Lions head coach, Dan Campbell, after the match when he addresses the media. “I mean, to see all these guys – of this team, our team – come together and everyone thinks of another player, it just means a lot.”

An emotional campbell said that he and the Falcons coach Raheem Morris had agreed that they would not continue the game, adding that “it was not feeling well”. With 6:31 to play in the match, the official call of the league came this game was suspended.
“When something like it happens, it puts things in perspective,” added Campbell. “I’m just praying for Mo. I ask everyone to pray for him.”
The Lions declared in an update on Friday evening that Norris was in “stable condition” and that he had “feelings and movement in all ends”.

“He breathes, he speaks. It’s good. He has movement. Now they do more tests,” added Campbell.
Norris was to stay at Grady Memorial hospital in Atlanta during the night “for observation”.
