Olivia Dunne had one of the largest social media followings of any collegiate athlete during her tenure as a star gymnast for the LSU Tigers, who won a national championship during her tenure.
While Dunne has moved on from her years as a high-performance athlete, she has over 7.9 million followers on TikTok and an additional 5.3 million on Instagram. She’s no longer an LSU gymnast at this point in her life, but there’s one thing she doesn’t want to be known as.

Dunne bristled at the term during an interview with Maxim. She was then asked how she wanted to be designated.
“A former athlete, and honestly, currently: a model,” she said.
Dunne appeared on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Fashion Show, going viral for a breathtaking split during the show.
She recently appeared on the cover of the magazine and posed for photos for a spread.

Dunne spoke to Maxim about the business ventures she undertook while in college and after leaving LSU once her college career ended — particularly her fight on behalf of others for fair compensation for athletes’ name, image and likeness.
“A recruit who hasn’t even set foot on a campus yet is getting $12 million from a recall. It’s not a lousy deal, she’s getting paid to play,” she told Maxim, adding “that would never happen in any women’s sport.”
Dunne created the Livvy Fund in 2023 to help LSU student-athletes get the most out of NIL endorsements.
“The brands I work with put money into a fund, and my sister will connect them with a student-athlete who attends LSU and wants to work,” she said.

When she’s not working on her brand or the Livvy Fund, Dunne can be found cheering on her boyfriend Paul Skenes as he plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
