Olivia Dunne was at the reception of a few playful shots during the week when she nervously looked at her boyfriend Paul Skenes helping Pittsburgh’s Pirates to a victory against the Reds of Cincinnati.
Dunne had her arms above her head as she looked at Skenes throwing and revealing sweaty armpits. The moment has become viral on social networks. But the former gymnast LSU Tigers obtained the last word.

“You are drawing the” pit “to Pittsburgh,” wrote a person on Tiktok in response to one of his videos of Great American Ballpark.
Dunne replied: “You would also sweat as a fan of pirates.”
There is a core of truth, because the pirates did not have exactly the best seasons recently. Pirates have a 70-90 sheet this season and have not made the playoffs since the 2015 season.

Skenes has been one of the rare light points for pirates in the past two seasons. He was recruited from the year of the 2024 National League and is a competitor for the Cy Young Prize in the National League this season.
He has 216 stick withdrawals and an MPM of 1.97 in 32 games. However, he was 10-10 years old when the pirates had trouble finding Run’s support for him.
“I am actually worse than I was last year,” said Skenes. “It was 1.96 last year. I have 1.97 this year. I just have to be better. No, it’s cool. I’m not coming in the year with digital goals.”

The pirates announced during the match against the Reds that he set the brand for most of the stick withdrawals in a single season by a right -hander. Bob Veale and Oliver Perez each had more stick withdrawals in a single season.
