- The new Netflix look is now taking place for the Apple TV 4K
- He has drawn mixed reactions since his debut in May
- Beyond the new user experience, there are new sounds that cannot yet be deactivated
Netflix is one of the best streaming services in the world, and its entirely new look, which the streamer has nicknamed a “giant jump forward”, arrives on one of the most popular streaming box ecosystems, the Apple TV.
As some users pointed out on Reddit and in the Apple App Store, the new look is a overhaul of the home page and adds sounds, and officially landed on Apple TV and Apple TV 4K streaming boxes, after starting on other platforms.
It is probably a situation of “love or hate it” or loan or not, however. The subscribers were expressed on their disgust for the overhaul, in particular the change on the reception screen, to which many have been used – a classic scrolling through the lines – without clear reason. Netflix defended the new look in June 2025, and it seems that the redesign of the user interface is always unrolled as planned.
Netflix New UI on Apple TV from R / Appletv
The new Netflix look begins with a main rectangular bar which will turn between the content – potentially new seasons arriving soon or the higher choices – but always has rows below, mainly the very important function “ `keep watching ”.
Similar to other streaming services, the Amazon Prime video video, there is a higher bar centered on research, the house, the shows, the movies, the genres and my Netflix – the latter is the place where you will find your list, continue to watch and other choices that Netflix thinks that your interests will prick you.
Since this is the arrival of the new Netflix look on the Apple TV, after arriving on other streaming boxes like Roku and Smart TV, this does not represent the arrival of something new, just for Apple TVOS platforms. Netflix remains determined not to support or integrate as a chain within the Apple TV application, despite the wishes of many, including myself, for its arrival. You may remember that there was a brief period when Netflix allowed this functionality in February 2025, but it was short-lived … very short-lived.
People are quick to express opinions on the new Netflix look arriving on Apple TV, however, many sharing early opinions on the Sander R / Appletv. A complaint that translates several times is around the sounds that Netflix has made it possible to scroll and even click on different content.
It seems that beeps can become repetitive, and there is apparently no way to deactivate them. This happens even if you deactivate menu sounds in tvos settings, because Netflix apparently replaces it and is not bound by this.
Others simply called the “horrible” or “raw” refreshing user interface and others hope for a slow deployment. There is also a good amount of sarcasm used here, and although Netflix says that many subscribers are silent on how much they love it, it seems that the most vocal are always satisfied with the fresh look.
One way to make subscribers who look at Apple TV 4K a little happier would be to integrate into the Apple TV application, but I don’t think Netflix will take the index.
