In a recent interview with ESPN, Dononic revealed his emotions on the shocking superproduction trade which sent him to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a future first round choice.

The Lakers pushed the clear winners from this agreement, but for Donic, it was an emotional outing. Whoever left him a broken heart and a phone.

“Sadness, especially. I was always in shock, like a crazy shock. I had the impression that my heart was broken, honestly,” said Donic in the interview. He revealed that he was in bed when he learned the news for the first time. His first reaction? Throwing his phone.
“It still works,” said Doncic with a smile by revealing the damage to his phone.
Donici spent the first 6.5 years of his career in Dallas. When asked if it was there that he had hoped to finish it, he replied: “Of course, that’s an easy question.”
Donic has prospered with the Lakers, Meanwhile, the director general of Mavericks, Nico Harrison, became a public enemy No. 1. According to Doncicic, he did not speak to Harrison since the trade, including the night he learned it.

Earlier this week, Harrison spoke to media members alongside the CEO of Mavericks, Rick Welts, behind closed doors, where only journalists based in Dallas were present to ask questions. Harrison said he had “no regret” on trade.
“There is no regret on the profession,” he said, via ESPN. “Part of my work is to do the best for the Mavericks, not only today, but also in the future, and some of the decisions I will make will be unpopular.
“It’s my job, and I have to support myself.”

For Donic, Harrison’s comment from the trade added salt to the injury.
“It’s just sad about the way he is talking about right now,” he told ESPN. “I never say anything wrong about it, and I just want to move on. Fans, my ex-teams, I will always keep in the heart. It’s time for me to go from there.”
The emphasis is now on basketball and the playoffs. The Lakers welcome the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday evening in match 1 of their first round match of the Western Conference.
