Luka Doncic was presented as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, a few days after the team acquired it in an exchange of superproductions with the Dallas Mavericks.

“I was almost asleep when I received a call. I had to check if it was April 1. I didn’t really believe it at the start. It was a big shock,” said the 25 -year -old, via FOX 4 NEWS.
He spoke of the emotions he felt because he had to leave the Dallas region, a place where he called to the house since the Mavericks acquired him during the draft of the 2018 NBA in a business with the Hawks of Atlanta.

“It was a big shock,” said Donic. “(Dallas) was at home, so it was really difficult moments for me. … (But now) I can play in the biggest club in the world, and I am excited for this new trip.
“Honestly, it was difficult at first,” he added. “This first day was really difficult. I had the impression that these last 48 hours were a month. Emotionally, it was really difficult, but today was much better. These are the Lakers. It’s the One of the best clubs in history, so I am excited to be here.
Dononic said he was looking forward to playing alongside LeBron James, whom he described as his idol.
“It’s like a dream come true,” said Donic. “I always admired him. There are so many things that I can learn from him, and I’m just excited to learn everything and play with him. It is an incredible feeling.”

Doncic has not played since Christmas because he is dealing with a veal strain. He will participate in work of 5 against 5 Wednesday, and the Lakers will decide later when he made his debut in purple and gold.
