Luke Hemsworth has revealed that he and his brothers Chris and Liam have talked about working together on screen, but booking the God of Thunder is no easy feat.
Talk to E! News On Monday (March 30), Luke, 45, said the trio wanted to collaborate.
“I would love to do something,” he said, adding that they had “talked about it a lot.” The sticking point, he joked, is his brother’s schedule.
“We have to book Chris about two years in advance. He’s incredibly in demand.”
This is not an exaggeration.
Chris, 42, returns as Thor in Avengers: Apocalypseexpected in theaters on December 18, and recently participated in the thriller Crime 101 as well as two documentaries, Chris Hemsworth: an unforgettable road trip And Unlimited, in which he is also producer and subject.
Despite the scheduling issues, Luke made it clear that the desire of all three brothers was there.
“We’d love to. If anyone wants to write something, then please come and see us.”
All three have had separate careers in Hollywood, making a joint project feel like an event in waiting rather than something already in motion.
In the meantime, he admitted, they can’t always keep up with each other’s work.
“Either one of us is having each other’s stuff looked at, that’s the battle we face. We’re always like, ‘Have you ever seen that?’ “Oh, no, I know. I’ll get there, man, I promise.'”
Luke is currently promoting Beasta mixed martial arts drama starring Daniel MacPherson and Russell Crowe, directed by Tyler Atkins, opening April 10.
