Mandy Moore and Lupita Nyong’o plead for research on women’s health!

They recently encountered legislators in Washington, DC, to raise the question and importance of funding for the cause.
Sharing their own personal struggle, the actresses discussed ABC News Live PrimeThe segment to come on the motivating force behind the defense of the health of women and reaching out to those who do the right, via People.
Lupita shared that her struggle when she discovered that she had non -cancer fibroids in her uterus, and the lack of research in the specific field made the task difficult for her.
After having opted for surgery for her painful state instead of living with pain, when Lupita asked her doctors what she could do “to make sure they did not come back”, the doctor replied by saying: “There is nothing that you can do, this is only a matter of time until they grow.”
“I was so amazed by the little of my doctor of my doctor on this condition,” she noted, adding, “so that we allow women to suffer, so that it is simply normalized and accepted is unacceptable for me.”
“So I wanted to play the role I could to make sure that the generations to come after me do not do it, that they do not meet the same kind of relaxed ignorance.”
By shedding light on his driving force, Mandy said: “I think that since he became a mother, it’s so much easier for me to defend the name of myself and my children and future generations.”
“It is obvious to be able to use this crazy platform that a job I like gave me somehow,” she added.
