Mac McClung forged its own personal dynasty during the NBA All-Star weekend.
The guard, who did not play in a single match for the Orlando Magic during the regular season, stormed San Francisco on Saturday and won his third consecutive NBA Slam Dunk competition. This is the first time that a NBA player has won the event three times in a row.

The Gague G star had four perfect dunks, each marking a 50. McClung dipped on a car and more than 6 feet 11 inches of Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star Evan Mobley. He beat the San Antonio Spurs Stephon Castle goalkeeper to maintain his championship.
“It looks like a blur,” he said. “This is something that I like to do. This is where my creativity comes from. I really love this contest and I like Dunk.”
McClung, who plays for the Osceola Magic in the G League, is the second dunk to win the competition three times. Nate Robinson won in 2006 and then again in 2009 and 2010.
The NBA All-Star Draymond Green says that the games are “boring”

“I think the competition is a great thing,” said McClung. “I know people probably want larger stars and I would like to see this. I think it is important that people in it wanted to do it … This competition is a special thing. We all like it.”
The performance of McClung has sparked reactions from the star of Memphis Grizzlies Ja Morerant and the star of Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
“Mac could make me decide to dip,” wrote Morant on X.
“If you do it. I will do it with you,” added Antetokounmpo.
McClung has only five NBA games to his credit. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers in addition to magic.
He said that he had prepared for the competition for almost nine months and that he does not know if he will go for a fourth title.
