Magnitude 3.3 earthquake hits Panjgur in Balochistan

PANJGUR: A 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck parts of Panjgur in Balochistan early on Wednesday with an epicenter about 85 kilometers north of the district.

The earthquake measured a magnitude of 3.3 and was recorded at a depth of 12 kilometers, the National Seismic Monitoring Center (NSMC) of the Pakistan Meteorological Department said.

He added that the epicenter was about 85 kilometers north of the district headquarters.

Residents reported feeling brief tremors, prompting some people to go outside as a precaution.

However, authorities said there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the quake.
