Malala invites us to take stronger measures against Israel’s genocide in Gaza

Winner of the Nobel and militant of the rights of girls, Malala, Yousafzai, believed the American government for not having used its influence to stop war in Gaza and responded to the accusations concerning its silence on the genocide of Israel against the Palestinians during the financial women at the top of women.

“The simple fact of looking at the American role in this area has been really disappointing. The United States has so much power and influence that it has not used to provoke peace, stability or to protect human life,” she said. She expressed her hope that the United States would take stronger actions to stop Israel’s genocide in Gaza, put pressure on a ceasefire and allow humanitarian aid to flow in the region.

In response to the accusations concerning her silence on the genocide in Gaza, she said that these statements are not based on facts. “A meticulous examination is always present for public figures. One of the reasons for this is that some people do not deliberately manage to verify the facts. For example, I faced a meticulous exam to be allegedly silent about Gaza, but I have spoken several times since 2014,” she said.

Malala underlined her continuous efforts to raise awareness and provide support, noting: “I used my platform to defend this cause and contributed to donations for the construction of schools in 2014, 2021 and 2023, as well as to grant emergency subsidies to organizations that help many children in Gaza at the moment.”

She also underlined the fate of Afghan women and girls with Taliban regime and sentenced the actions of the regime. “What happens to women and girls in Afghanistan. I hope the United States will take stronger measures to support women and girls, increase their efforts and strengthen global pressure on the Taliban. I urge them to stand with Afghan women and activists, putting their voices in the foreground.”

Malala concluded by strengthening the importance of collective action, declaring: “We are all on the same side; we all speak for the same cause.”
