David Beckham became an emblematic world athlete when he broke into the scene of the Premier League with Manchester United from 1992 to 2003.
He scored 62 goals for Manchester United in 265 appearances for the club and helped the team with several sections of the football association and to a UEFA Champions League trophy during his stay there. The club was also at the top of the Premier League table for several seasons.

But since the days of glory of Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United has been at best in the middle of the table. The Red Devils have not finished first in the Premier League since the 2012-13 season and finished twice twice.
He was one of those who expressed their criticism of Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho because the two players were involved in incidents last week. Diallo spilled the adult towards the fans in Malaysia when he said they made comments to his mother while Garnacho had an incident with a fan who was spinning it, according to ESPN.
For Beckham, he underlined the lack of success for the club. Manchester United finished last season 15th in the table.

“I don’t like to see what’s going on at the club,” said Beckham to CBS Sports while Paris Saint-Germain beat Inter Milan for the Champions League trophy. “It is true that it is the field that counts, but I see a lot of things that are not acceptable to me as a fan and lover of Manchester United. You have to represent the badge. I saw a lot of things where the players did not act in the right way.
“We understood what it meant to play for Manchester United. We understood what the badge meant. Wherever we travel, whether in Europe or Asia, we respected the fans. We respected the fact that they came and paid money to see us, to get an autograph or take photos. You have to respect this.”

The 15th place of Manchester United has been the worst since the 1989-90 season, when the club was 13th in the Premier League. The club still managed to win the FA Cup that year. But it was three more seasons until they returned to the top of the Premier League ranking.
