This is Mars, which means that madness follows on the university basketball field.
Sometimes this madness is due to certain brutal blunders which cause distressing losses.
This is exactly what happened during the final of the male basketball tournament of the Eastern Middle Sports Conference on Saturday, while Caleb McCarty from the Southern Carolina State seemed to make a game of playing game when he stole an inbound pass and equaled the match at 65 each against Norfolk State.

However, the heroic moment of McCarty quickly became sour when he did not seem to realize what the score was at the time of the next play.
With 10.6 seconds to play, McCarty hunted Christians from Norfolk State and intentionally dirty. McCarty’s teammates were in shock, throwing arms in the air while Ings could go to the free throw line to get two free shots to take the lead.
Ings ended up hitting only one of these two free throws with 8.9 seconds to play, although the state of South Carolina had another bucket of bucket to rectify the erroneous fault.
But the last blow to the buzzer missed, and Norfolk State celebrated his trip to the NCAA tournament as Champions of the Meac. Meanwhile, the state of South Carolina could not have been more broken.

McCarty finished the match with four points and two rebounds, playing 19 minutes from the bench for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs also increased from 34-25 to half-time, but were upgraded 41-31 in the second half while the Spartans made a return.
