Marshal Asim Munnir Visit Loc on Eidul Azha

Marshal General Asim Munnir visited advanced positions along the control line (loc) to celebrate Eidul Azha with troops on Saturday.

The visit began with the prayers of Eid, where special supplications were offered for national peace, stability and prosperity, as well as in honor of the martyrs who gave their lives for the defense of Pakistan.

Extending Eid’s greetings to officers and soldiers, the army chief welcomed their professional excellence, their unshakable dedication and their resilience in the face of continuous challenges. He said that the celebration of Eid on the front line, far from relatives, reflected their deep commitment to national service.

The Gen Munir congratulated the role of training in recent operations, notably Marqa-e-Haq and operation Bunyaanum Marsoos, and paid tribute to the martyrs and the Ghazis.

“You have adapted the loss of innocent lives, including women and children, by your daring and effective response,” he noted.

During its interaction, the army personnel (COAS) recognized the high morale of troops, operational preparation and vigilance to counter the violations of the Indian ceasefire. He has fully reiterated the military’s ability to dissuade and defeat any assault.

Addressing the wider regional context, the Marshal of the Munnir field reaffirmed the position of the principles of Pakistan on the Jammu and the Kashmir (Iiojk), occupied the continuous support for the “fair and valiant” struggle of the Kashmir people. He underlined the need to resolve the cashmere dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the cashmere people and the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

The coas were received at the loc by the commander of the Rawalpindi Corps when they arrived.
