Peshawar:
A police officer was martyred in the Shahpur region in Peshawar after unidentified attackers opened fire on him early Saturday morning. The attackers fled the scene after the incident. The martyr’s funeral prayer took place with full -fledged official honors in the Malik Saad Shaheed police lines, to this police and military officials.
According to police, the policeman Shahenshah, son of Ahmad Jan, who was a reader at the Hashtnagri police station, was on the way to the service when unidentified armed men stretched him out in the Budhani region under the limits of the Shahpur police station. He died on the spot due to several ball injuries. The attackers, who would have led a motorcycle, would have managed to escape.
By receiving the information, the SP Mukhtiar Ali rural division rushed to the scene with the local police, moved the body of the autopsy and collected key evidence on the crime site.
Later in the day, the funeral prayer of the martyred constable was offered to the Malik Saad Shaheed police lines in Peshawar.
