Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 is now a few hours old and should add Ultron as a whole new strategist. It looks like this new season – or half -season – could be one for books, given the changes provided for in a certain number of heroes, the addition of new teams and even a new card to play.
I will cover the accumulation of the launch of season 2.5 in the next 24 hours, leading to downtime, then sharing my thoughts once everything is live.
Marvel Rivals season 2.5 Key information
Netease was busy teasing the next season of Marvel Rivals During the last week approximately, after revealing the Ultron Kit, as well as a deep dive in the room notes and the upcoming balance modifications. There is also a new card to look at, which seems to be the dark and mysterious lair of the bad X-tron. If my first impressions are correct, season 2.5 will seriously shake the meta in competitive mode and could even move some heroes on my Marvel Rivals Level list.
After covering the launch of last season live, I can’t wait to see how things are going this time. Since the launch, I have been playing hundreds of hours Marvel Rivalsmainly in competitive mode. Marvel Rivals season 2.5 Date and start
Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 will be launched on May 30 at 5 a.m. ESP / 2H PDT / 10H BST.
The servers will then fall for “2-3 hours” before the new season is available for all players. As such, I believe that season 2.5 is playable at the following hours:
- May 30 at 5 a.m. PT: West coast in the United States
- May 30 at 8 am HE: East coast in the United States
- May 30 at 1 p.m. BST: United Kingdom
- May 30 at 2 p.m. Central Europe
- May 30 at 9 p.m. JST: Japan
Marvel Rivals Ultron
The main update in Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 is Ultron, which joins the game as a new strategist. He is a flying character with a laser beam attack that has an unlimited range. His capacities allow him to protect his teammates, to add drones to give an additional shield, and his ultimate draws a series of explosions which heal the teammates and at the same time damage the teammates.
It seems that Ultron will have a great synergy with other flying characters and has a new team with Iron-Man. We will have to wait and see if he will be a viable choice alongside Luna Snow and invisible Woman, but the first signs seem promising.
Marvel Rivals season 2.5 layoffs
Netease has now published the complete layoff notes for Marvel Rivals Season 2.5. He describes a lot of bug corrections for heroes like Black Panther and Emma Frost, while giving information about new features to come to the user interface and personalization. Marvel Rivals season 2.5 New card

Gala Hellfire: Arakko is added as a new card in season 2.5. It is the lair of the villain X-tron, and offers many nasty machines and robotic vehicles integrated into a hard and cold stone.
As you can imagine, it is a dark and cavernous place, with bright red lights and a soundtrack of rock and rock. It will be interesting to see how Arakko works as a card in competitive mode, joining Krakoa as new additions of this season.

Marvel Rivaux of the season 2.5 classified changes
There are not too many changes in the game classified in season 2.5, although there will be a new set of awards classified to win, and a new convoy card in Arakko.
The award for reaching the gold level 3 at the end of the season is the Ultron – Golden Ultron Skin, which we have not yet seen. There are new honorary ridges for Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity and the first 500 to win as well. Currently, there has been no announcement of a row reset, although this is likely to change as we get closer to the launch day.

As a writer of independent games, it is my job to stay up to date with the last games, in particular live service titles like Marvel Rivals. I took hundreds of hours Rivals Since the launch, mainly winning Venom, who now I have a lord rank. Generally, I play competitive mode with an ordinary team, hovering around the top of the platinum level. Until now, I am mainly stuck to the Vanguard and Stratège roles, so I am really excited to get my hands on Ultron. There will also be Magneto and Doctor Strange buffs, two characters that I absolutely like to play.
