Marvel Rivals Season 3 changes the way most players win daily and weekly awards.
The Abyss Awakens update for the online shooter arrives officially on July 11, and with it, a whole series of new content, including a new playable hero, Jean Gray, Battle Pass, Skins, etc.
As with each major patch, there will also be a ton of equilibrium adjustments in all areas, and Netease Games has confirmed that the game’s mission system will also be affected.
As explained in the latest betting notes, daily missions are deleted and their respective chrono token rewards will be “redistributed to other missions”.
This means that the need to grind for chrono tokens every day will no longer be a main characteristic of the game.
Meanwhile, weekly missions are improving. All unfinished weekly missions will now be completed and can be completed until the end of mid-season, which again removes the need to grind rewards.
New seasonal quests will be added, will last the whole season and may be completed several times for awards, and “more types of mission” also arrive, while missions specific to excessive heroes have been deleted.
At the end of each match, a screen will appear which will show an overview of the missions finished and in progress, which facilitates knowledge of the reward to aim.

Although Daily Mission Rewards are no longer, players will be able to win a lot of free goodies this coming season with the new Twitch Drop campaign.
From July 11 to August 8, players can connect to the broadcast of a streamer in partnership, watch them play marvel rivals and win up to four awards depending on the duration they watch.
