Punjab Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday ordered the use of all the resources available for the province’s flood victims.
She presided over a four -hour meeting in which the situation of all the areas affected by the floods through the Punjab was examined. Reports concerning rescue and rescue activities in the districts concerned were presented and examined at the meeting.
The chief minister ordered the authorities concerned to adopt emergency measures in hospitals given the situation of the floods in all Punjab districts.
She also visited Shahdara to review the situation of the floods in the Ravi river. It observed the water level on the Shahdara deck, the safety dam and other protective measures. It was informed of the possible flow of water in the river.

The chief minister led the administration and the departments engaged in rescue and rescue activities to finish the evacuation of the population and livestock of the river crossings as soon as possible.
The deputy commissioner of Lahore gave a briefing on the situation in the river and the affected areas.
The CM was informed during the meeting earlier in the day than all the relevant departments of the Punjab government monitored the situation of the floods 24 hours a day. The army services were called for seven districts – Lahore, Kasur, Siallekot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Okara and Sargodha.

District administrations, the province of disaster management (PDMA), rescue 1122, civil defense and the police are engaged in the realization of rescue and first line rescue operations.
The districts of Kasur, Okara, Pakpattan, Vehari, Bahawalnagar and Bahawalpur were declared affected due to the floods in the Sutlej river.
At least 72 villages and 45,000 people in the Kasur district were seriously affected by the high level of floods in the river, was informed of the Minister -in Chief.

She was informed that 12 villages in Pakpattan, 23 in vehicle, 75 in Bahawalnagar and 15 in Bahawalpur had been affected by the floods. To cope with the situation, 130 boats, motor ships on board, bikes, 1,300 life jackets and 245 rings were delivered in the affected districts.
More than 150,000 people and 35,000 cattle have been moved to safe places and rescue camps as well as medical and veterinarian services were created. More than 2,600 victims of the floods are processed in the medical rescue camps.
The main provincial minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, the chief secretary and other senior officers attended the meeting.

Maryam also expressed her gratitude in the face of the safe evacuation of 25 people trapped in flood waters in the Shakargarh region. “Each life is precious. Those who saved 25 people are national heroes,” she said.
She paid tribute to the Shakargarh administration and rescue team for performing rescue operations in a timely time. The chief minister said: “Floods are a natural disaster, but the security of people’s and property will be ensured at all costs.”
She called on people to stay away from the river and runoff, emphasizing the need to move to safe places in time.

The president of the provincial cabinet on the president of disaster management, Khawaja Salman Rafic, said during a visit to Ravi to examine the situation where the instructions had been issued for the immediate evacuation of the citizens of the river bed in Lahore, Sheikhupura and Nankana.
The arrangements to cope with the high -level flood in the river in Jasar were examined on this occasion.
The Minister said that all rescue and rescue agencies should remain on alert and that there was no room for negligence. He said residents of the affected areas should be moved to safe places and have provided all emergency camps.
The PDMA guarantees continuous coordination in the province and the district administrations were responsible for remaining active. The minister urged citizens to stay at home and avoid unnecessary trips.
