Mason Gooding confirmed his return to Scream Franchise.

In a new conversation with US Weekly,, CRI 7 Star Mason Gooding gave fans a cryptic index on what is in store when Ghostface strikes again.

“I will say [the movie is] Domestic, I would say that it is warm and unconventional, “said Gooding, 29, at The Outlet.

For those who have been reversed, Gooding has portrayed Chad Meeks-Martin from Scream 5.

According to statements, he is particularly enthusiastic about the idea that the creator of Franchise Kevin Williamson has returned.

“From a creative point of view, [he] is the dream, because it has created this world, “said Gooding.

“Having this level of understanding, world construction and ethics behind Scream was incredibly rewarding. This gave me a better understanding of the vital element of the series as a whole,” he added.

While Chad is “just a piece of the biggest scheme” of the Shout Universe, Gooding, even said that Williamson’s involvement would do the seventh episode “A global addition” which nails the tone and construction fans of the world hope in a sequel, or any franchise film.

THE Shout Saga started in 1996 with Sidney Prescott de Neve Campbell against Ghostface, alongside Gale Weathers de Courteney Cox and Dewey Riley de David Arquette.

After the four original films by Wes Craven, the series returned with Scream 5 in 2022, presenting new tracks Sam and Tara Carpenter, Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega, alongside Chad and her twin sister Mindy, Jasmin Savoy Brown.

Although Campbell jumped Scream 6, she should come back for the last episode, bringing together Cox, Gooding and Brown, while Barrera and Ortega leave the franchise.

The film will also bring back inherited characters, notably Dewey, Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley d’Arquette, both old Ghostfaces.
