All eyes are on title champion Scottie Scheffler, Rory McILroy and the two major winners Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele and some other names of households.
But we are here to tell you about the nine golfers that you may not know who could make noise in Georgia this weekend.

Shane Lowry
Shane Lowry is no stranger to the major success of the tournament. He finished among the first four in each major, including a victory in the 2019 open championship and a second place in 2022 Masters.
Last year, he was from top to bottom, but he succeeded in sixth place in the PGA championship and the open championship. This year, he left hot.
In seven events, he has three top-10, including a finalist behind his boyfriend Rory McILroy in Pebble Beach. The only time he finished outside the top 20 was when he missed the cup as an assurance of farmers, and he finished equally in the 39th place in Genesis.
Since then, he has finished equally in the 11th, seventh, tied to the 20th and equally in the eighth. It ranks in several important analyzes which are essential for Augusta: the fourth of the gunshots won Tee-à-Vert, sixth in the shots, approach green and 24th in SG around green.
Russell Henley
Augusta National was generally not kind to Russell Henley. Apart from his fourth place in 2023, he finished outside the Top 20 in five of his eight other times during the course.
But he ended the hot majors last year, ending equally at the seventh at the US Open and fifth in the open championship. His performance was good enough for an appearance of the presidents’ cup, and he postponed it with an incredible victory to the Arnold Palmer Invitational with the help of an eagle with a hole of the trap on 16.
Henley cut in his seven tournaments this year and has four top 10. He ranks 16th in SG Tee-to-Green and around the green and the 22nd of SG is approaching green.

JJ SPAUN
JJ Spaun has just made feet with Rory McILroy in the players’ championship, and although the playoffs did not take place, it was a whole effort.
Spaun has another finalist this season as a cognizant and tied in third place at the Sony open in Hawaii. His other events did not go too well, but it is not a secret that he can find himself near the summit if he does it.
Spaun ranks second in SG is approaching green (behind Collin Morikawa) and seventh in SG Tee-to-Green. It is a sly choice and an eye on the eye.
Robert McIntyre
Robert McIntyre rises high. His last four finishes have been tied in sixth row, missed, equal to the 11th and ninth. He ranks fifth in SG Tee-to-Green, with the first four of Morikawa, Mcilroy, Scottie Scheffler and Lowry combining for nine major championships.
It also ranks eighth in SG out of the tee, the 21st in SG is approaching green and the sixth of the greens in percentage of regulation.
It would be an astonishing if he had to win everything because his putter is not too sympathetic, but his driver and iron game could make him hover around the moving day.
Will Zalatoris
Should the Zalatoris really be considered a sleeper if he has contributed three times to the Masters and finished in the top 10 of each of them?
During a course like Augusta National, which eats some of the best golfers in the world, Zalatoris clearly knows how to tame it. However, he did not have the best start of the 2025 season compared to his standards, although he was the top 50 of each event to which he has played so far.

COREY CONNERS
Corfers climbed at the top of the Masters week, ending with three TOP-10 in its recent events. And given the need to hit the ball well in Augusta, Conners is one of those players who could climb the classification immediately during the first major this year.
Thanks to its seven masters, Conners finished in the top 10 of them.
Akshay Bhatia
The Lefty Swing-Swing quickly becomes a PGA Tour superstar, and it could cement this title if it runs a green jacket this week. Last year, Bhatia finished 35th in his First Masters tournament, and taking into account its first 10 players to the players (tied to the 3rd), Genesis Invitational (equally for the 9th) and Mexico Open (9th), he is playing golf right now on a course that should be soft this week for a easier score.
Sepp Straka
By starting his fourth master this week, Straka, the 13th row golfer in the world, had his best finish last year when he arrived 16th. But his last three tournaments have seen him end respectively the 11th, fifth and 14th. He also won the American Express this year, so he plays a big golf course before the week.

Tom Kim
Kim is not playing her best golf course right now, missing the cup in two of her last four tournaments, including Valero Texas Open. In the two cuts he made, he finished tied in the 36th and equal to the 42nd.
However, Kim has managed to Augusta National in her two tournaments. He finished equally in the 16th row in his beginnings in 2023, and tied in 30th in 2024. And his last round of last year saw a 66, which was the weak score of the day by two strokes.
If he can reduce approach errors, Kim has a chance to fight on Sunday.
