Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford played injured in the team’s 28-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
Stafford’s wife, Kelly, revealed that the star quarterback has been playing through injury since Week 15.
“It was against San Francisco. We all know how tough Matthew is, and people don’t realize how tough he is because he doesn’t really tell anyone what’s going on.
“He got hit in San Francisco…(and) that night he came home and he was like, ‘Yeah, I think I broke my ribs,'” Kelly said during ‘a recent episode of “The Morning After with Kelly Stafford and Hank.”

“And he did it. He broke four ribs but didn’t really let anyone in to really know much about it. He continued his daily process like nothing happened, he was going home and was unhappy.”
Despite four cracked ribs and less than ideal weather conditions, Stafford completed nearly 60 percent of his passes while throwing for 324 yards and two touchdowns.
Kelly said his brother, Chad, hugged Matthew after the loss, and the quarterback was wheezing and hunching over in pain because of his cracked ribs.
