Engineer Zia-Ur-Rehman, the younger brother of Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman, accepted the challenge of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, to challenge an election in Dera Ismail Khan.
“Gandapur, I accept your challenge. You are not worthy of Maulana’s response, so face me instead,” Zia said in a video message strongly written on Sunday evening.
The Priery Exchange follows a press conference held in Lahore on Sunday, where Gandapur dared Fazl to challenge an election against his brother (CM) in Di Khan. Gandapur undertook to leave politics if the head of the Jeu-F was won, but insisted that Maulana should do the same if he lost.
“First of all, try to defeat this son of Mufti Mahmood. Maulana Fazlur Rehman has dragged your head of the headquarters of power. Now, have your brother resigned and put it against me,” Rugi Le Challenger, directly speaking to the Minister -Chief.
Zia said he had once publicly stated that if a DNA test was carried out, the chief minister would not even be considered a real gandapur. “Gandapors are courageous and honorable people,” he added. “It is not one of them.”
By promising to release the residents of KP from the claws of a “corrupt regime”, Fazl’s brother said that Gandapur’s pain and his desperate explosion were proof that his eoute in power was just at the corner of the street.
Maulana Fazl said on Friday that any political change in KP should come from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI).
“I made my suggestion-there should be a change in the province,” he said at a press conference in Peshawar.
He added that his party would decide on its line of conduct after an internal consultation, stressing that the province could not afford more political instability.
