Karachi:
A new torsion came in the light in the Mustafa Amir Murder case. The Industrial Analysis Center of the University of Karachi has categorically denied that the report was disseminated in various media platforms, including social media, in which the Sindh police would have cited the center report to the support of their assertion according to which “ no trace of intoxicating, sedative or toxic substances was found in the samples taken from the body of Mustafa Amir ”.
Sources of the Research Center have said that the report referenced in the media is misleading. According to scientists involved, the biological samples provided by the police for chemical analysis were so seriously burned that no scientific conclusion could be drawn from them. Due to the severe fire of the body, the internal organs such as the liver and the lungs have also been charred, which makes any scientific analysis impossible.
Scientists from the industrial analysis center said they had never published a report indicating that no intoxicating or toxic substance was used on Mustafa Amir before his murder.
Speaking under the cover of anonymity, scientists have also revealed that the media read only the second line of the report, while the first line clearly declares: “The organs have been completely burned. Consequently, a scientific analysis is not possible.”
A forensic expert also revealed that for the identification of DNA, the police provided a tooth sample to test. The tooth pulp sample corresponded to family DNA, which was used to confirm that the body was from Mustafa Amir.
It can be mentioned that the exhumation of Mustafa Amir took place on February 21 at the EDHI cemetery in Moach Goth, where forensic experts have collected samples of the body.
