Meghan Markle is accused of being “too friendly” with a member of junior staff.
The Duchess of Sussex, which spent two years in the United Kingdom after marrying Prince Harry in 2018, is called upon to befriend a staff member.
The new Times book reports that the new book by author Tom Quinn entitled Yes Maadam: The Secret Life of Royal Servants, a former royal staff: “When someone arrives from the United States and tries to change things, the Old guard really doesn’t like him.
“And the old guard is great snobs.
“They must be less obviously snobbish today, but it’s still there.”
The source added: “I can tell you that if William had wanted to marry Meghan Markle, it would have been a step too far.
“But Harry was never going to be king.
“Courters and teams pending and in communication thought that Meghan would prevent Harry from trouble, would give him something to focus on.”
This occurs while Meghan is also accused of having tried to be too friendly with Prince William, when she was still in the United Kingdom.
“Meghan hugged him practically in his arms each time they were struggling to each other,” reports the newspaper.
“The embraces and the games fueled gossip among the staff that Meghan was flirting with William, which she was obviously not, but the tense atmosphere caused by all the delicate feeling (and the gossip that result) have deepened it between the brothers.
“In fact, William is rather clumsy, even inhibited by the personality – a legacy of his father – was confusing for the more spontaneous Meghan.”
