Meghan Markle has been having a positive moment in her career for a long time, an insider says.
The Duchess of Sussex, who recently visited Paris Fashion Week to support Balenciaga for the show, would have had her “moment” a long time ago.
An industry expert said: “Paris was a ‘moment’ for her. It’s the first positive communication she’s had in years. Fashion is now her focus.”
This comes days before Meghan is due to attend the Powerful Women Summit in Washington DC this week.
At the summit, Alyson Shontell, editor-in-chief of Fortune, told the duchess: “You went to Europe. You were just in New York, and, congratulations, you just won a humanitarian award for your work supporting online safety for parents and children, and you came home for a day to see your children.”
Meghan laughed and replied: “Because I had to. We were talking about it because everyone was like, ‘Oh, you had to go straight from Paris to New York.’
“I said, ‘No, I need to see my babies.’ So I went back to California for a day and then moved on,” she admitted.
