Meghan Markle has not yet confirmed if she will accompany her husband Prince Harry on her trip to the United Kingdom.
According to a royal expert, the Duchess of Sussex is unlikely to return to the country of origin of her husband next week
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said L’Express That Meghan was “relieved” to leave Great Britain in 2020 when the Sussex fell to royal functions.
He noted that the return to the United Kingdom would be very stressful for her, adding that her popularity in the country remains weak, with a recent Yougov poll showing that 21% in favor of her, while 59% consider her negatively.
“Meghan will certainly not come to Great Britain with Prince Harry next week,” said the expert on publication.
“It has been clear for years that she was only too relieved to leave Great Britain as life as a working royal, turned out to be very stressful and unsatisfactory for her.
“Since his departure, the Sussex have ruthlessly monetized their royal relations and have made huge damage to the royal family.
“The last Yougov survey shows that its popularity is 21% and those against 59%.”
Fitzwilliams added that he would be “crazy” for Meghan to be part of the possible meeting of Harry and King Charles, given the sensitivity of the situation.
“Given sensitivity to a possible meeting with the King and what it could lead to, it would simply be crazy for her (Meghan) accompanying Harry.”
