Meghan Markle sparked fresh controversy after she was spotted wearing a very expensive Chanel dress which she first donned during a 2022 photoshoot.
Fans noticed that the dress, originally seen at Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2022-23 show at Paris Fashion Week, now valued at nearly $8,000 on the resale market, is the exact same one she wore for The Cut magazine three years ago.
The remade dress the Duchess of Sussex wore during her visit to New York with Prince Harry in October. Her astrologer friend Angela Pearl posted a photo of the couple on Instagram, showing her wearing the Chanel tweed dress from the old photoshoot while dining at the private SoHo House.
It is pertinent to mention that this sparked rumors that Meghan Markle would not return clothes from previous shoots. A journalist previously said designers were shocked when the Duchess of Sussex failed to return items from shoots, including dresses and jewelry.
However, Prince Harry’s wife has never commented on these accusations.
Additionally, Meghan also wore a green dress earlier this month during her 2022 Variety magazine photo shoot for her Netflix promotion. This sparked further speculation that the former Suits alum kept his clothes on while filming.
