Meghan Markle would have intensified Kate Middleton Rift after having reopened the debate on the traditions of the royal dress.
In an interview with Bloomberg, the Duchess of Sussex complained to file tights for official commitments during her stay as Royal Working.
“It was different several years ago, where I could not be so vocal and I had to wear bare tights all the time!” She shared. “Let’s be honest, it was not very myself. I had not seen tights since films in the 80s. It seemed a little inauthentic.”
Now an initiate has shed light on the issue, indicating to Radoneline“Meghan didn’t like to be told how to dress from the start.”
“She thought that the tights were in the old-fashioned and uncomfortable, but felt pushed to carry them at events with senior royals,” they added.
Note that this pressure only widen her tense relationship with Kate Middleton.
Another initiate shared the rehearsal drama, declaring: “During the rehearsal of marriage, Kate insisted that children should be tights to stick to tradition.”
Adding: “Meghan did not agree, and that turned into a real flash point between them.”
The source noted: “It may seem minor, but in royal tights, tights symbolize tradition. Meghan considered it a question of choice, while Kate considered it an obligation. Neither was ready to go back. “
