According to a latest report, the Duchess of Sussex is not likely to risk copyright complaints despite online comparisons between the trailer for its next show and the lifestyle promo of Pamela Anderson.
After Meghan left an overview of his program on his Instagram account, the fans were quick to highlight similarities between the two programs, but the legal experts said that no offense had taken place.
Stephen Lowry, brands chief, copyright and conceptions in the Brandsmiths law firm, said GB News This British copyright law requires proof of real copying.
“Under the British Copyright laws, the violation of copyright requires proof that the copy has taken place,” he told the publication.
“As such, although there may be coinciding elements between the two shows, such similarities will not give rise to a counterfeit if the works are the results of independent creation, that is to say the content which is created independently absent from copy.”
