The Duchess of Sussex’s latest literary accessory has disappeared from virtual shelves in less than 24 hours, marking the second time in a month that one of her bookmarks has gone out of stock.
Under her lifestyle brand As Ever, Meghan introduced a new design stamped with the words ‘Hold that thinking’, priced at £14.83 and that’s exactly what fans did before clicking ‘buy’.
The slim page holder arrived with bundles organized around the theme of slow afternoons and cozy evenings.
Although the standalone piece is gone for now, shoppers can still snag it as part of gift sets ranging from £35.60 to £129.05.
The quick sale follows the first design in January, which bore the handwritten phrase ‘I fell asleep here’ and was designed in partnership with a women’s-led workshop in the New Forest.
That first drop also disappeared quickly, but once the deliveries arrived, not everyone was impressed.
Critics on social media wasted no time dissecting the product, with some questioning its quality after a video surfaced appearing to show it sliding off a page.
Supporters praised the British craftsmanship and bought the new version without hesitation, applauding the Duchess’s talent for turning a simple reading tool into a talking point.
