A party attended by Meghan Markle has been called the ‘worst’ by a food critic.
The Los Angeles vegan dinner, titled A Seat At The Table, was hosted by Emma Grede, UK managing director of fashion brand Good American and founding partner of Kim Kardashian’s Skims.
Food critic William Sitwell called the party “the most horrible” and “the most superficial” in a scathing review.
He wrote in The telegraph: “I think I attended the most horrible, the most grotesque, the most vulgar, the most superficial, the most revolting, the most tasteless, the most hollow and the most vain dinner in history. In short, the worst.”
The dinner also included Meghan’s As Ever wine.
William added: “Because the splatters all over Instagram and the like posed endlessly before, during and after Wednesday’s party, in a circle of vain adoration and self-righteousness. It was about telling the world that they were there, and you weren’t.”
Host Emma, however, had a completely opposite take on the party and called the group “the most incredible group of women”, gushing that it was a “night built around connection… where women came together to share stories, exchange lessons and lift each other higher”.
