Meghan Markle’s quiet partnership with the UK pays off as Prince Harry’s trial approaches

Meghan’s return to UK this year highly speculated as tides turn

Meghan Markle scored a massive victory by quietly partnering with a British studio as tension mounts over Prince Harry’s bittersweet return to his homeland.

The Duchess of Sussex teamed up with a small, female-owned British studio for her first As Ever product release in 2026, unveiling a limited-edition leather bookmark that immediately flew off the shelves. This was its first launch since last year’s Holiday collection.

The bookmark was launched on Tuesday (January 13) in collaboration with Sbri, a New Forest-based workshop known for its handcrafted souvenirs. The piece features the phrase “Fell Asleep Here”, stamped in gold using Meghan’s own calligraphy, and she describes it as “a keepsake designed for those who linger, take a break and return.”

Along with the bookmark, As Ever also released an “A Moment To Unwind Set,” which bundles the bookmark with peppermint tea and sage honey with a honeycomb.

The collaboration clearly paid off for Meghan as she sold out within minutes. But while she’s partying, her husband, Prince Harry, is preparing for a legal battle on British soil. The Duke of Sussex is expected to travel to London later this month for the start of his High Court trial against Associated Newspapers Limited, publisher of the Daily Mail.

Although Meghan is not expected to join Harry on the legal visit, speculation continues that she could return to the UK later this summer. Reports suggest she could accompany him on a one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, given proper security measures are in place. There is also much speculation about the return of their couple’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

If so, it would be his first visit to Britain since 2022, when the couple extended their stay following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
