Melissa Gilbert joked that her children had to give him more grandchildren.
In a recent conversation with People, The 60-year-old actress shared that during her off-screen days, she spends quality time with her grandchildren.
Gilbert is the mother of two sons Dakota of his first marriage and Michael of his second marriage. Since her second marriage to Bruce Boogleitner, she is also a mother-in-law of two children, and with her current husband Timothy Busfield, she is a mother-in-law of three children: Samuel, Daisy and Wilson.
And she is also a grandmother of eight grandchildren through their mixed family.
“All these babies. All these grandchildren. I mean, they are so delicious and fun and funny,” said Gilbert, who plays in The Off-Broadway Playing again, started.
Gilbert continued by saying: “Our older birthday of birth, because one of our children married a woman with three adult boys who are our grandchildren, but our older on being born from one of our children has just been 10 years old, and his name is Lulabelle.
“We had a bunch of children with us this Christmas in Albuquerque where my husband produced the cleaning lady. And Lulabelle was with us and ended up having pajamas in our room. We put a teepee in our room for her and she stayed with us.
“They are so fun with whom to spend time, these fantastic little people, our little Ruby and Eli and Ripley and Rosemary and Bébé Casper. I continue to tell the children:” Give us more! No more! we want more ‘, “she jokes.
