Michael Cera and Wes Anderson joined the hands for the next film The Phoenician program.
This is the first time that the artistic duo has worked together. The actor was used to play Asteroid cityBut he had to abandon after the birth of his son.
Now the film should be presented first in Cannes. Michael said Variety How he signed up in the film.
“Just by Wes asking! I mean, it was such evidence and would always be for me, having an invitation from his Juno According to Star.

Elsewhere in the interview, Michael revealed how long he knew Wes, saying: “I knew Wes over the years socially. We met for a long time – it goes over 20 years or something. We have just met at a meeting, but we were in contact over the years.”
“Wes was in fact very encouraging with me with some of the projects that I tried to set up. He read things and he was just useful and united. And then, of course, I always hoped to have the chance to be on one of his sets,” he added.
The Phoenician Program will be released on May 30.
