The voting of the stars of Caitlin Clark among the players of the WNBA, which ranked its ninth best among the guards of the league, had social media in a frenzy wondering how it could be the case.
One of those who expressed their opinion was Michele Tafoya, the former NFL journalist, who believes that Clark’s peers are “jealous” of her.
Tafoya made an appearance on “don’t @ me with Dan Dakich d’Outkick”, where she made her reflections advance on the issue.

“I thought we were turning a corner here, Dan,” she told Dakich. “I thought we had seen her teammates who back down it. I thought we might be based with this obsession with Caitlin Clark.
“It really looks like a hatred towards her, but it is clearly a jealousy. She has this great publicity of state farm where everything is better for the logo – a formidable, very intelligent announcement. So, America loves it, fans love it clearly, the media loves it. But the players cannot bear it.”
Clark, a captain of the WNBA stars with the Minnesota Lynx collar Napheesa, finished first in voting fans and fourth in media voting among the guards.

But Tafoya, like many others, could not believe that Clark was so far in the list. Some people believe that it could be because she had trouble in the last games with her jump jump, while others talked about her driving by playing only nine of the 16 games of the fever this season due to injuries.
Tafoya did not want to hear it.
“Ninth best goalkeeper in the league? Don’t try to give me the excuses of” Well, she had difficulties lately, “or” she missed a few games with an injury. “Come on, it’s madness and I think it’s an activist vote for WNBA women, who just can’t endure his success.

Clark is on average 18.2 points, 8.9 assists, five rebounds and 1.6 interceptions out of 33.3 minutes per game this season. Only Alyssa Thomas de Phoenix Mercury – who could be among the 12 star matches of the stars, which will be selected by the head coaches of the League and announced this Sunday – has more aid per game (9.3), and she touched hardwood in 12 competitions this season.
Clark also obtained 1,293,526 votes from the fans.
While Clark was an integral part of the rise in the popularity of the WNBA from its recruit records and league battery last season with the fever, there were many controversial moments with the game opponents.

This season, a physical altercation broke out against the Connecticut sun, during which Clark was hit in the face and pushed to the ground during a room. Later in the match, his Clark teammate Sophie Cunningham repaired against the Solar Guard Jacy Sheldon in another fight that led to ejections.
And, of course, Clark was the center of the national sports conversation after cases against the Sun, Chicago Sky and others.
