Microsoft has announced that he closed his flagship physical retail store in London in the context of apparent plans to develop operations.
The company confirmed the plans, indicating Windows Central He will end his lease on the Oxford circus in London earlier than expected.
The 21,000 square feet store, in three floors, will now close in February 2025 after six years of operation.

“To better align with its accent on digital growth, Microsoft has decided to leave the lease at the Microsoft Experience Center in London early,” said a spokesperson for the company Windows Central.
“We regularly examine our locations and workforce to ensure that we align ourselves on market opportunities and make changes to respond to the company’s requests.”
The store, located on one of the most frequented parameters (and probably the most expensive), opened its doors in July 2019. Located at a few spaces from the London Plagle store in Apple, the center was the large field of Microsoft To show its wide range of occasional buyer products and services, with views of Xbox and surface equipment alongside third -party offers.

This decision means that Microsoft will no longer have an autonomous physical presence in the British capital, unlike Apple and Google, although its products are always presented in the city’s partner retailers.
A similar Microsoft experience center remains in New York, but there is no news to find out if this installation will remain open for the moment.
