- Microsoft has revealed new smart features for Copilot + PCS
- Windows 11 obtains an AI agent to help you easily adjust the settings

Copilot + PC owners obtain very useful introductions for Windows 11, including the features that Microsoft has been promising for a long time – the possibility for AI to modify settings for you in the operating system.
Microsoft covers all the introductions he makes in a blog article – Note that these additions will all be in testing only (for the moment) – as well as to summarize a bunch of other features that have already been seen in the tests.
The key introduction for many (which comes from the rear of the full version of the recall, finally – and more and more) will be the modification of the parameter application which brings an AI agent.
This takes the form of a bar at the top of the parameter panel in which you can type requests in natural language. The idea is to remove all the pain of refining the various Windows 11 parameters, of which there is a ton (and a half).
So, for example, if you wanted to enlarge the mouse cursor, rather than looking for the “ mouse ” in the search bar for normal parameters, you can ask AI instead, and simply type a request: “How can I enlarge my mouse pointer?”
You can formulate it as you wish (within reasonable limits), and the AI must surface the option you need so that you can click to activate it. Or it can go even further and make suggestions on the parameter that you may want to choose (as a recommended size for the pointer in the example above). With regard to such recommendations, the obvious warning that AI can be wrong is included.
The possibility for AI to make radical changes in Windows 11 has been something that Microsoft has been talking about since he introduced the co -pilot for the first time to the operating system. And although they are smaller adjustments, rather than large stretches of adjusted options, it is always a very clever decision – and probably a safer way of working (for the moment, certainly) given the propensity for IA incentive to make mistakes sometimes.

Discover the YouTube video above to see the functionality in action. However, note that this feature arrives on Copilot + PC with Snapdragon X chips only to start (in tests, as mentioned), but it should not be long before it arrives for devices with AMD or Intel processors.

1. Reflect your photos

The photos application in Windows 11 obtains dynamic lighting controls which are facilitated by the AI (and the NPU on your co -pilot + PC).
This allows you to correct poor lighting in an image, or simply to play with different lighting effects (or even bizarre), using up to three light sources.
Consult the reflective example indicated in the video above (where another feature, the select object in the paint, is also presented).
2. Easy screenshots with AI doing the bulk of the work
To watch
The snipping tool obtains a new perfect screenshot feature. Summon this and you can surround roughly an area of the screen you want to capture, and the AI will reappear it in the key part that (it assumes) that you want to capture.
Check it in the example of a video clip above-it could be another substantial time element. If the AI is wrong, there are also handles to adjust the wandering harvest.
3. The narrator is propelled
The Windows 11 screen reading tool obtains a boost, as Microsoft explains: “Narrator now offers wealthy image descriptions, which provide a detailed context for visuals, including graphics, photos and user interface elements.”
This means that when the web content does not have an alternative text provided – words that can be read to describe an image for those who cannot see it – narrator can do it itself.
This should be a major step with accessibility for Windows 11 blind (or low vision) users. As with the AI agent’s parameters, this feature arrives (in testing) on Copilot + PC with Snapdragon X fleas before other models.
