- Microsoft removes unique costs of $ 19 for individual developers
- It will also sign applications for free to stimulate confidence and safety
- Developers retain 100% of income when using their own electronic commerce systems
Microsoft finally eliminated the costs of previous $ 19, allowing individual developers of nearly 200 countries to publish applications on the Microsoft Store for free.
The change now makes Microsoft even more accessible than before – Google maintains its unique costs of $ 25 and Apple retains the annual costs of $ 99 higher.
To be eligible, the developers can connect with a personal Microsoft account, but although no credit card is necessary, they will have to scan an identity document issued by the government and take a selfie to check that they are who they say they are.
Microsoft Store removes developer costs
Senior Product Manager, Chetna Das, has removed the news via a blog article, declaring: “Microsoft creates a more inclusive and accessible platform that allows more developers to innovate, share and prosper on the Windows ecosystem.”
The company will also sign free applications, stimulating consumer confidence and safety.
With the change, developers will be able to operate the 250 million active monthly users of Microsoft in its shop.
Redmond is particularly proud of the fact that developers can go from registration to submission in a few minutes thanks to instant access to the central partner after verification, so that the developers will not face the difficult battle they could cope with other platforms to put their application in the hands of consumers.
Win32 (including .NET WPF and Winforms), UWP, PWA, .NET MAUI and Electron Apps are supported on the platform, Microsoft taking 15% for applications and 12% for games if the developers choose to use its commercial platform.
The DAS has also clearly indicated that the developers can use their own trade system integrated into the application to maintain 100% of income – a probable excavation in Apple, which has been examined on examining this in recent years.
