- Universal printing anywhere, or printing of traction, is now generally available for Microsoft 365

Microsoft has published “Universal Print AnyWhere” for all Microsoft 365 organizations at no additional cost, all in order to improve safety by avoiding erroneous impressions in bad places.
The company’s Nishant Lakhanpal explained in a blog article that users can “print safely from any location and recover their documents in any printer” – a functionality known as “Pull Print”.
This means that users will have to authorize printing work once they have reached their chosen printer, which means that important or private documents will not be automatically printed and are not found in unwanted hands.
Microsoft provides printing to all eligible users
The functionality works by sending printing work without selecting a specific printer in advance, so that the documents can be recovered from any business printer recorded by self -dependent on the device. It also avoids users to have long lists of printers to find the right printer – which often leads to errors.
“Universal impression anywhere guarantees that confidential documents are never left on printers for an unauthorized vision,” wrote Lakhanpal.
In addition to safety benefits, Microsoft also notes that printing traction helps reduce waste by avoiding double printing caused by forgotten or not collected printing work.
“Functionality is included with your existing universal printing license at no additional cost,” confirmed Microsoft.
Due to a universal print anywhere operates on Windows and MacOS platforms, which means that all employees can use feature without being linked to the Microsoft operating system. To participate with Universal Print anywhere, administrators must record printers on the network.
In the future, Microsoft also undertook to extend the universal printing anywhere even more OEM to ensure maximum compatibility and management of the devices.
