While the MLB opens another series series on Tuesday with the first joker games, the biggest shock after the 162 game marathon is that the New York Mets lacked in a World Series offer.
The dishes, who owned the highest pay in the league and reached the NLCS last season, fell to the Miami Marlins in the match 162. The Reds of Cincinnati also lost their final against the Brewers of Milwaukee, who had already won a place of eliminatory series, but the 4-0 dishes sealed their destiny.
Fans of the dishes were livid and the legend of New York sports radio, Mike Francesa, castigated the organization.

“This is such a colossal break,” said Francesa on his podcast. “It is one of the great colossal collapses without tripe that we have seen from a team with talents for a very long time.”
The payroll of the 2025 dishes, stimulated by a record free agent contract with Juan Soto, struck $ 340 million. They justified it early, having the best MLB record in mid-June.

But the collapse that Francesa described has never stopped. The dishes have become striated, swinging from top to bottom without consistency.
“There are bad teams. They are not them – it’s not a bad team,” said Francesa. “They are a group of underperformants without tripe. This is what they are at the heart, and they should be ashamed.
“I never thought that they would be without postponement. I never thought that they would not find it to this extent. I never thought that their pitch would dissolve as badly as. They were also a high -level programming all year round. They became a bad defensive team. They became a bad situational team. And they became a little bum without enthusiasm.”

Strong words of the “Pope Sports”, but many fans shared the feeling on Monday while the dishes concentrated around 2026.
General manager David Stearns has confirmed that manager Carlos Mendoza will return next season. The Slugger Star Pete Alonso, however, announced after the defeat against Miami that he will withdraw and would again test the free agency.
Since June 12, the dishes went 38-55 – an unfathomable slippage given their early domination. On September 1, they still led the Reds by six games for Joker’s last point.

“It was a slow drop that started at the end of June and was never resolved,” said Francesa.
