The confrontation between the New England Patriots And Bill Belichick took another tour on Monday when head coach Mike Rébel said that the former NFL coach was welcome in the team’s facilities despite the previous remarks of Belichick indicating the opposite.

Vrabel’s comments came a few days after Belichick confirmed that the patriots’ scouts were prohibited from having access to the program of the University of North Carolina.

But, according to Vrabel, the door has always been opened to the legendary coach.

“Nothing surprises me,” said Truebel when he appeared weekly on Radio Weei Monday. “I mean, he returned for – to the best of my knowledge – Tom’s ceremony.”

TRÉBEL referred to the appearance of Belichick at the Gillette Stadium in June 2024 when Tom Brady was inducted into the team of the team’s fame.

“I guess he is back according to the fact that he was there. So, I’m just going to go. Since his departure as a chief coach here, he’s back, and I’m going to leave that.”

Belichick and the Patriots separated after the 2023 season, the two calling for the friendly decision, but the reports at the time supposed that the split was anything but harmonious. Then, last week, the owner of the patriots, Robert Kraft, said that Belichick would get his own statue outside the Gillette stadium.

“When this large era of 20 ended, it was always my intention to order a statue for Tommy and Bill when their respective careers was over, playing and coach. At the end of the Bill coach career, we look forward to sitting with him and doing a statue to be right next to Tommy”, ” Kraft told CBS News.

We do not know what has happened in the past few weeks that has led to the apparent bad blood between Belichick and the Patriots.
