Millie Bobby Brown has recalled one of her worst experiences in life.
While the Stranger Things The star previously shut down plastic surgery rumors with a powerful response, but she only recently spoke out about the damaging consequences of rampant speculation about her during this time.
“I was depressed for three, four days. I cried every day,” she revealed.
Recounting the wave of surveillance she faced at the time, the Enola Holmes The actress continued, “‘Oh my God, what did she do to her face? Why did she go blonde? She looks like she’s 60!’ I respect journalism. I love reading about my favorite people and hearing what they’re up to. I understand that there are paparazzi, even if it’s intrusive, even if it seems like crap to me – I know it’s your job… But don’t slam me, in your title, right off the bat.
“It’s so wrong and it’s bullying, especially towards young girls who are new to this industry and already questioning everything,” she expressed her frustrations and shared her concerns for the upcoming young talents.
“For some reason, people can’t seem to grow with me. Instead, they act like I’m supposed to stay frozen in time… And because that’s not the case, I’m now a target,” the Lady actress added in an interview with British Vogue.
For the uninitiated, in March, the 21-year-old British beauty visited the Electrical condition press tour, where she faced rumors that she had gone under the knife.
