Supergirl takes center stage as DC Studios finally releases the first trailer for its next major summer release, starring Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El.
On Thursday, December 11, Warner Bros. released the first trailer for Supergirl, in which the Dragon House The star plays a brutal Supergirl – one who drinks, fights and isn’t interested in being a carbon copy of her cousin, Kal-El. “He sees the good in everyone and I see the truth,” she says bitterly in the trailer.
Krypto, Superman’s loyal dog, also joins the journey, hinting at the film’s mix of courage and charm.
Fans first saw Alcock’s Kara in James Gunn’s final moments. Supermanwhere she appeared inside the Fortress of Solitude.
And while the teaser keeps the villains under wraps, audiences get a brief glimpse of Jason Momoa’s Lobo – a moment fans have been waiting for for years. Although it’s only a flash, the actor fully embodies DC’s most infamous bounty hunter, a character who often challenges Superman in the comics.
Directed by Craig Gillespie and based on the 2022 comic book by Tom King Supergirl: the woman of tomorrowthe film follows Kara as she adventures across the galaxy with a young alien in search of justice.
Supergirl hits theaters on June 26, 2026, ushering in a bold new era in James Gunn’s DC Universe.
